Free Advocacy Training on March 26, 2019, 10 a.m.–2 p.m.

The Illinois Self-Advocacy Alliance (The Alliance) and The Arc of Illinois are hosting a day of learning and advocacy training. During this free event, you’ll learn about:

  • Advocacy, including how to speak up for yourself or your loved one
  • Adult services in Illinois
  • Case Management
  • How to best navigate the system
  • Current legislation and policies that could affect you

The event is limited to 75 participants and requires registration 3 weeks prior to the event. Lunch is included.

Community Link Buddy Walk — Saturday, May 4, 2019 — Register Your Team Today!

The local chapter of the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) is holding their 13th annual Buddy Walk on Saturday, May 4, 2019 in Breese Illinois. This annual walk raises funds to support the mission of the NDSS <Link to blog post about the NDSS video>.
