Gordon Hartman, the philanthropist and developer behind Morgan’s Wonderland theme park and Inspiration Island water park, is opening a camp experience for people of all ages and all abilities in San Antonio.

Morgan’s Wonderland Camp, slated to open in 2020, is an inclusive recreational oasis that will give visitors the summer-camp experience.

Breaking Down Economic and Physical Barriers

The ultra-accessible Morgan’s Wonderland Camp will break down economic and physical barriers. By welcoming both those with and without special needs, the camp will be an inclusive environment where better understanding stems from having fun.

Camp Fun for People of All Ages and Abilities

Speaking of fun, there will be plenty of it. The camp, which will serve up to 252 campers and staff members, will feature horseback riding, multi-platform zip lining designed for wheelchair and breathing apparatus users, pools and a lazy river, wheelchair accessible hiking trails and more.

With 20 cabins, expansive welcome center, kitchen and dining hall and a camp store, there will be plenty of opportunities to socialize.

Campers will also have the option of choosing their length of stay, from one to 10 days.
